Taylor Stout was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati she worked as a paralegal for an immigration law firm, which is where she discovered her passion for immigrant rights.
Although Taylor did not experience first-hand the struggle many immigrant families face, the stories she heard and bonds she created with clients motivated her to attend law school. She graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law, where she participated in the Immigration Law Clinic. Thanks to her clinic professor, she had the opportunity to volunteer for Proyecto Dilley at the South Texas Family Residential Center. It was because of that experience Taylor decided to take the Texas BAR.
Taylor is excited to be another fierce advocate and immigration justice warrior on the Garcia & Garcia team.
